Confirm ID and ownership details with the seller
Run a full PPSR or REVS check for outstanding finance and written-off status
Review all service records/logbooks
Conduct a daylight, dry-weather walkaround for all panel and glass- Ensure a recent (valid) Roadworthy Certificate
Check for presence and condition of seatbelts, airbags, and child-locks
Test every light, indicator, horn, and electrical component
Inspect tyres and spare for tread and cracking
Start the engine and listen for abnormal sounds (knocks, rattles, misses)
